Lea, she is 17.
We (Yuki and I) are in our 40's generation, Oh, no, Yuki is now 50 years old.
Well, well,
but all of three know the Beatles.
The other day we went to Karaoke shop and sang the songs of Beatles.
According to her the most famous rock, pop, hard rock, punk heavy metal bands are --
1. Green Day
2. Rolling Stones
3. Mickael jackson
4. Yes
5. Queen of the Stone Age
6. The Beatles
7. Iron Maiclen
8. Led Zeppelin
9. Genosis
10. Foo Fighters
11. Van Halen
13. Jimi Nendrix
14. Rink Floyd
15. Nirvana
??????
The bands "I" know are No2, 3, 6, 8 ,12.
And the songs "I" can sing are just songs of the Beatles.

I'm 53 and although I've heard of all those bands (except #5) and know songs from most of them (except #1, #5, # 10, & #15), I think my list would be different.
However, I'm very surprised that #4 is on a 17 year old's list. "Yes" was/is my favorite band but even at the height of their popularity (when I was in high school), they were not a popular--a mainstream--band.
Lea seems to know a lot more classic hard rock and heavy metal then I would have guessed. A lot of the bands on her list are twice as old as she is!
I think Lea is crazy about hard rock and heavy metal, though she looks carm, and she wears "usual" simple cloths. First I heard about rock music information from her, I couldn't image her singing and listening. But when we took her KARAOKE, I understood everything.
On the other hand, she doesn't know anything about Jazz and clasical music, it means she is really 17, doesn't she?

But I think its normal for 17 years old like your daughter to not knowing any jazz or indie songs.. xDD

yes, itis autumn, and winter is just around the corner, so it is getting colder and colder day by day.
Seeing snow is bearutiful, but living in snow is not,,,,, so good, I think.
