Finaly it's sunny today.

I  hanged out the laundry, and aired the FUTON, though I was concerning about pollen. Anyway it's sunny and warm. When we had breakfast, Yuki said "It's a little bit hot, this room." He is right. When I got up, I tuned on the heater as usual, and I put on a thick sweater. It was "hot" even for me. So now I don't turn on the heater. I can't believe it because it was really cold yesterday.

Unfortunately from this month I don't have an adult lesson in the morning. She started to work part-time. For her it's wonderful to get a job and to have a chance to go outside. So I "am going to " spend my free time in the morning on Wednesday to study English ---probably. (Now I'm writing this diary in English.)

Today in TOCHIGI, it is a day of entrance exam for public high school. Every junior high school student who is in the third grade is "now" taking the test. Three of my students are doing, too. I hope they will pass the exam. Last week they made their Easter-eggs using "balls" instead of real eggs. I let them to do art and crafts for only 3 minutes. So they just put some stickers, but they seemed to enjoy it.

Do you have any special plans for Easter?

hi, Mieko !
we have been back from Austia for four days now, time flies !since i've been back i've had to deal with more health concerns : because of the long trip to france (9 hour-drive), i've now discovered i have a clotted vein underneath my right knee so i had to go and see the doctor on monday who gave me some medecine, special ointment and i have to wear special stockings for a month or two.i'm having an echo doppler test this morning to see if it's not more serious.....sigh...i got rid of my gastro when on holiday, and went to see a specialist once back on monday, he said that actually there has been a bout of extremely harsh and active gastro enteritis virus in our area and his surgery has been visited by lots of people like me who got it for weeks on ends and couldn't get rid of it !!! everybody visited the specialist because they all thought, including me, that they might have something wrong in their digestive system and bowels and might suffer from cancer !!!!!!!!!! so i was relieved when he said that this was common disease and not something nastier !i'm ok now anyway, bowelwise..i'm just fed up cause as soon as i get rid of something, another ailment turns up !!!!!!!!!!
thanks for your article !

Thanks for your coming again, Dom. I bet you had a wonderful time in Austlia. And I'm glad to hear that you got rid of gastro. On the other hand I'm sorry to hear that your leg is not so good.

To tell the truth I'm worried about gastro now. One of my hobby is eating, but I "can't" eat enough, as soon as I eat something I feel bad. Probably it comes from this cold weather, because I took barium contrast x-raychec, and there was nothing bad in my guts.

Well, I have to start today's last lesson.Talk to you soon.

hi !
Had the echo doppler yesterday, it shows i've got thrombosis of a vein but thanks god, it's not a major vein, just a superficial one but there still is a clot to get rid off..the good news is that the medicine and the iontment seem to start working and having some effect so i'm glad but the specialist i saw yesterday told me it will take at least three weeks to get rid of it ! i've to wear special stockings which is very tiring....but anyway, no choice !i have no other option...
No wonder you had tummy upsetting cause i heard that gastro is everywhere at the moment and it strikes in a harsher way than before..i'm now completely frightened by gastro cause it really ruined my life for a whole month ! and then, in this country, doctors soon prescribe you a colonoscopy which is an awful test !..lol..my hubby got it three years ago and they give you a special stuff to drink (about two liters to drink in a record time ! not my cup of tea !) and then you spend the rest of the night in the loo !!!!!!!!! and then, you have to wait at the hospital until they search you with a camera in your bum...lol...no thank you...lol... well, this test is really good to detect tumors and cancer and life saving but they tend in France to prescribe it very easily and this test gives the creeps..LOL....anyway, since i was cured the doctor said i didn't need any and that i had had the same symptoms as the rest of the gastro struck people in our area.......
we might go and eat in a Japanse restaurant this wekend, i am not sure if i will take the sushi as i'm always afraid the raw fish might not be fresh and "sushi" enough...lol....
have a good day, mine is only starting...
