BANKAN
These are not grapefruits, they are called "bankan". And it has also another name "Japanese grapefruit".
Coincidently I got them.
Ho do I eat them --- too much.
Thanks for your comment, Rosa. Probably compared with other Japanese orange (not mandarin oranges), not so sour, however from you it might be very sour. Anyway though it was troublesome, but after the job I was really satisfied with doing it.
I have never seen bankan, but I think they must be very sour! It is clever to use both the peel and the flesh of the fruit so nothing goes to waste.
