lunch diary 1226

Our Christmas week has finished.
Today I put away all decorations and put New Year's decorations.

This year a friend came, so I decided to cook something, and Three of us including Yuki enjoyed Christmas.
My elder daughter visited her younger sister's apartment, so our daughters and our grand daughter enjoyed Christmas together. (Unfortunately our son in-law couldn't come back to Japan from Thailand)

This year, of course we were in trouble with covid-19.
However, for us the most worried thing was my mother's situation.
Since she needed care by someone, almost one year has passed. Last Christmas she was all right, though because of corona pandemic, no one except my brother who lives with her only spent together.
During one year, many things in our life  changed. I'm suffering from light depression.
Fortunately my mother and Yuki's mother are fine.
My mother spends her life at her house with her son.
Yuki's mother spends her life at a elderly nursing home.
It's difficult to say which is better, which is happier.

They show us our future.
