Okay... I know the answer to the first two. 1) Pop - is also a word for "Father", so it is a play of words. Cold pop=cold soda but also a father who is cold. 2) Also play of words in a way because when they ask the question, you first think about the ingredients. But the answer is teeth- like when you take a bite of a yummy cake, you need to get your teeth in it.
No idea what the third one is about. White hat usually indicates a positive character in the story, someone who is good vs bad one, a black hat. I think that in the old western movies, the good guy would even wear a white hat and all bad characters dark ones to show the difference up front. Not sure how it relates to the cook... Unless it is to make you think about the guy's character (bad or good) on purpose- but this was just a regular hat to cover his head, without any double meaning! Hmmm... Any other explanations???
Thanks, Marta for answering my questions. Some Japanese friends see this blog. They really understand your answers and they are happy.
Additionally, I found this Q &A
Q: Why are chefs’ hats so tall?
A: To stop their food tasting too much of head!
